Thought for the Day............

Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brillant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually who are we not to be? YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD! Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory within us. It is not just in some; it is in everyone. And, as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

A NEW YOU!

Do you want to change the construction or design of your life? Are you heading down a path that you feel isn't quite you? Do you feel like you are lacking in certain area's in your life? If your answer is "yes", you will be encouraged and motivated to know that reconstruction with a new design is entirely possible! You CAN be in control of your life. By becoming more conscious and mindful of your thoughts and feelings, the words you use everyday (all have negative or positive vibration/energy attached to them.) You CAN change the undesirable causes in your life. The Law of Cause and Effect. What you reap you have sown! You CAN bring desired effects into your life. YOU are the one who determines the outcome of each day. YOU are the master of your Soul. Your Mind. Your Spirit. Your Body.
Control your thoughts! Easier said than done, I know! But possible - YES! Let me help you!

There are also other physical ways to bring your Being into a harmonious state. Consider these ideas in your daily living:
1- Eat nutritious foods. Eat an abundance of complex carbohydrates: fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Low fat and very low refined carbohydrates. Eat foods that are in their natural state. For example: Eat an apple instead of drinking apple juice. Fresh food is the very best. Try not to eat -- if not AVOID food that comes from a box.
2- Avoid overeating.
3- Drink plenty of water. Water helps us maintain body temperature, eliminate toxins from our body, metabolize body fat, and feel refreshed. Water is the body's most important nutrient and it is involved in every bodily function. It makes up 70-75% of the body's total weight. The rule is to DRINK 1/2 YOUR WEIGHT IN OUNCES OF WATER. Example: if you weigh 140 lbs. then you would drink 70 oz. a day.
4- Avoid Soda Pop! It serves NO purpose. On the PH scale, pop is 2.8, which is very acidic. You want your diet to ALKALIZE your body, and ingesting a highly acidic drink is very detrimental to your health. Pop (phosphoric acid) leeches calcium from your body and is a major contributor to osteoporosis. Not to mention tooth decay, obesity, high in sugar (and sugar is a whole other subject!)
5- Eliminate foreign or deleterious substances from your body that are known to be detrimental; i.e. alcohol, drugs, tobacco, caffeine, etc. Anything that can cause you to become addicted and lose control of CHOICE.
6- Take a good source of minerals. Minerals are the catalyst to the spirit. They provide the electrolytes (turn on the electrical energy.)
7 - Consistently participate in some form of exercise at least four days a week, 20-30 minutes a day.

I know these steps can seem overwhelming - but take one idea at a time and try to change. Baby steps!
Call or email to schedule an appointment. Let me help you find peace and harmony in your life. Let's integrate Mind, Body and Spirit! We CAN do it together!

I wish you all the best on your journey to ENLIGHTENMENT!

Have You Ever Wondered Why You.....?

Have you ever felt as if there was a time bomb inside you ready to explode any second, yet you were unable to identity the source of this feeling? Have you experienced one day where an ordinary task was easy and then the next day it was an impossible, gigantic mountain to climb? Perhaps for some unexplainable reason you have been touchy or agitated for longer periods of time than you would like - maybe even lashing out or exhibiting behavior that is not you. If you have experienced similar frustrations, I would suggest to you the possibility you could be suffering from unresolved, repressed and suppressed negative feelings you thought you had taken care of - feelings you thought were dead and gone. What you may not realize is that when negative feelings are not resolved as they occur, these feelings remain very much alive in your physical energy field ( our body) and these feelings affect each day of your life. These buried feelings are very real. They are energies in and of themselves. They are alive, living and constantly affecting you. These buried feelings have a personality, and these feelings that have been buried will, of necessity, have to manifest themselves sooner or later. How? Through disease or the effects of these buried feelings could exhibit in your relationships. Perhaps these feelings will become evident in your mental, emotional, or financial well-being. According to the Health Editor Emrika Padus, "It is estimated that 90 percent of all physical problems have psychological roots. That may sound like a gross exaggeration. In fact, it's probably a conservative estimate. A growing body of evidence indicates that virtually every ill that can befall the body - from acne, to arthritis, headaches to heart disease, cold sores to cancer - is influenced for better or worse, by our emotions."(The Complete Guide To Your Emotions And Your Health p. 563 by Emricka Padus and editors of Prevention Magazine.) People everywhere are questioning, seeking, and striving to understand what makes them tick. "Whatever we choose to focus our attention on will automatically multiply in our lives. If our attention is on troubles or the injustice of the past, they will become our trials of the present also. If instead our minds are focused on the blessing we have received or the love of God, family, and fellowman, these will grow stronger."
